I agree. It's very frustrating. I've been trying to show these to people for years now, in real time. But they're so indoctrinated and gas-lit. Despite they've even now got a name. And they even tell you how they're made.
I've noticed this too. I saw a film a few months ago and it had a definite trail in the sky. I meant to record it and follow up but got distracted and can't now remember what film. I wonder if they're being added or I'm just noticed them. Or both?

Around 2011 to 2017 I watched this crime very closely, it being one of the first issues I'd noticed after vaccines. There was much discussion around when I started (I had old pics indicating odd skies from the mid 90s in NZ). There was also the issue of tweaking old movies with trails. Plus the subliminal addition of the lines to everything ... Windows 7 being one. Also the indoctrination of children to the new normal... info supplied gives names for all the new shapes. They've covered their tracks really well except now it's all out in the open... the patents and documented acknowledgment of the practice. Denial has been their main response. Even here. I wrote to the Enviro minister a few years back. Nick Smith also... called it 'conspiracy' in one of the docos. (Sorry if this is preaching to the converted ... new to your threads!)
I didn't see them down here (Canterbury) until circa 2015. I had been aware of these for some years in the US, and there was a site (Northland Chem Trails or some such - was that you?) in NZ. By the time I started to see them here I was very ill (poisoned) and could really only observe and photograph - but I wasn't able to do anything with the photos until now. No-one here would take this seriously. Now some are - finally. But it needs a lot more action imo.
They have been covering their tracks and as you say the subliminal programming and indoctrination is intensive. I'm not surprised you got no-where with Nick Smith. What a creep. We seem to have been blessed with possibly the most mendacious politicians in the world for my entire adulthood - and I'm 55. At least first equal. They love the weaponized 'conspiracy theory' ad hominem. Shuts down any intelligent discussion immediately and at best silences, at worst results in a name-calling shouting match. Which is equally good for the creeps.

Just saw Smith in the doco denying it... laughing he was. Doing his acting job well. The action unfortunately, as per the last 4 years spree, is blatantly denied & ignored. The site you saw was Clare Swinney's ... going way before I was... the Contrail another one. These two sites confirmed my suspicions.
I'm sure I'm not telling you anything you don't already know, but politicians are not the sharpest people as a rule. At best they're 'oily careerists' (in the words of a long dead NZ politician describing his colleagues).
My YT channel, trails I recorded over the years around the Rangitikei, Horowhenua, Manawatu. The fibers too, the white matter that floats down occasionally. Also the shimmery ones that coat the fields sometimes. And a find of some quite flammable dandelion looking stuff.
