Dear Adrian or spokesperson
The Financial Times has reported that "Rich countries plan to buy more gold despite record price" based on a World Gold Council survey.2

The RBNZ does not possess any gold.
My questions are:
Does the RBNZ consider New Zealand to be a rich country?
Was the RBNZ approached by the World Gold Council to complete this survey?
If the answer to 2 above is "yes", what were the RBNZ's answers to the World Gold Council's questions? Please include a copy of the questions in your response.
If the answer to 2 above is "no", does the RBNZ have any comment to make regarding why it wasn't approached to complete the survey.
Is the RBNZ intending to behave like other "rich countries" and buy gold?
Does the RBNZ have any comment to make on the content of the FT article above?
Thank you for your time.
Best wishes
