I made exactly this point to a friend after reading a newspaper report of a public meeting in I think Waihi, or some other small town. The speaker was an MP. Based on the report, both the speaker and the audience, including the reading audience, obviously had a much deeper understanding of money issues than the general public today. It was far too complex to use in the NZ Financial Reset series for a modern audience.
