Yes but these are really for someone else. I'm determined to shake them awake (metaphorically). Sometimes a wee break is necessary. Are you well? Cold? Your winter looks chilly. Our summer is! Some summer.
Oh, good on ya. I hope it works. A wee break is always necessary!! I'm doing ok, thanks. Yeah it's cold alright but ya know, I'm a true Canadian so I'm not too bothered by it most days - though I have to admit, as I get older, I'm less and less excited about it. I finally went skating a couple of weeks ago and it was like I'd never skated before - took a tumble within the first minute. 🤣 So sorry your summer is not so summery. I'm sure you can find a way to make it work for you Mr. Sunshine/Leo! Nice hearing from you. Hope your plans and 'schemes' are fermenting well. xo ♥️
Poor you for falling over but at least you got out skating. Good on you. I haven't skated for 40 years. Used to go to the local rink (now closed) to court a girl! Not successful with the girl (she was a bit older than me which probably didn't help) but I got good at skating - for a NZer, rubbish probably compared the average Canadian. Plans and schemes not happening; bloody health! Had a (self-diagnosed) stroke; brought on I believe because of domestic nonsense - a decade of ever increasing stress. Sounded drunk - and I don't drink. Speech has come back but headache still there. Used this to help and it was amazing; two weeks before I found it and three days after starting speech returned! I'll probably write a post sometime on this subject (can't leave all the health stuff to the medical cult; I do so appreciate Amandha's work; if I was working/earning I'd love to support her).
Holy cow - so glad you were able to get on top of that incident. I just ordered a whole bunch of DMSO stuff from her DMSO store. I hope you can get on top of that headache! You've sure been put through your paces Craig. The bastards just don't know who they're dealing with!
Love that you learned to skate whilst trying to court a Sheila (do NZers say that too?) LOL. My skates are about 30 years old - we have the longest skating rink in the world - it's a canal and for the past few years we haven't had a cold enough stretch to make it usable for the annual Winter festival. This year is going gangbusters so far.
Glad you're keeping your spirits up - the collapse is happening everywhere - we're all feeling it. Thank you for sharing the link - I didn't realize DMSO was good for strokes as well. Do you have any idea why you would have had a stroke? Do you think you're managing to move around enough to keep your immune system strong?

We don't really say Shelia; not that I hear anyway. More an Australian thing.
I think the reason for the stroke was 1) stress in my personal life in the last 10 years which ramped up in the weeks before the stroke (I call it a strokish because it was self-diagnosed) and 2) all the nonsense with the Baileys et. al didn't help.
But, as you say, spirits still good. But I am sick of being trapped. Trying to move as much as possible (I used to be very fit - a real outdoors type) and keep as fit as I can. Wobble like a whiskey drinker, and get tired, so it's limited, but am focused on it so do what I can. Very jealous of the skating; wish I could go too.
Awww .... I wish I could help you in real life. It would be my pleasure. I'll think of you whenever I get out.
It makes me think of my dad who was diagnosed with 'MS.' He was a very strong and fit man and the worst thing to do to him was to make him bed-wheelchair ridden. He did whatever he could to move, something that resembled a piece of bicycle etc. in order to keep moving but eventually he was unable to do anything because basically the treatment for 'MS' is the same as any other 'condition' - drugs, drugs, and more drugs and drugs to balance the drugs and drugs to counterbalance the drugs .... you know. I felt it was quiet torture for him.
Looking forward to hearing about your DMSO experience and hope you can manage to bring the headache down. xo 🤗
Hope You're doing well, Craig. Thanks for the music selection!!!
And you. Have a nice weekend.

Great stuff, saw the Narcs in Napier, 1983, small crowd, lead singer complained about size of crowd, that's about all I remember, cheers!
And I always thought Sierra Leone was a strange song, but anyway
Heard SL live (and some of the others) during orientation at university. It is strange now. I wonder if one of the band members had travelled there?
Havin' a walk down memory lane are yee!?

Never mind. Giving me lots of time to keep track of events. And there is a lot happening. NZ economy is collapsing, as a many people emotionally.

How funny; I misread and thought I had replied to the wrong message. So deleted and added to the correct message. See below.
Looks like my message got sent twice too - some glitchy issues.
