How I Successfully Eliminated My Painful Spasticism and (so far) 95% Muscle Spasms
One of the joys of poisoning...the story of EMDR and very high dose cannabis.
[Disclaimer: This is about me. Any description of symptoms, solutions etc. are my experience. None of this is advice, medical or otherwise, for anyone. I’m not going to give references for any of these claims. Feel free to ask me what I did but do your own research. ]
When I was poisoned, one of the consequences was spasticism. And it was *^&*&@#^$% painful.1
From Wikipedia2
Spasticity…is also colloquially referred to as an unusual "tightness", stiffness, or "pull" of muscles. Source.
Sounds about right for me. There is a lot more from that source that as far as I’m concerned is not relevant. Interestingly there is almost nothing about pain which was by far the most dominant feature.
The worst in my case manifested as a feeling of very very very tight bandages wrapped around my feet and lower legs.3
But it’s all good. The death cult had a few big-pharma solutions (ahem) for the pain etc. After a few years of their shenanigans it became apparent they had nothing to offer of any value. My MS nurse J was pure gold and she was on the job, looking for solutions in the alternative health literature.
And she came across something called E.M.D.R.
Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (E.M.D.R.)
J came across EMDR in the psychological literature. I have no idea why she was looking there; possibly she was just being thorough. But she had discovered that the professionals using this as a tool in psychotherapy had accidentally discovered it sometimes worked for pain.
This link, to the E.M.D.R. Institute (https://www.emdr.com/what-is-emdr/), is only a starting point. Most people have never heard of EMDR so now you know it’s a thing. I’ve not looked closely at the material here, but it shows it’s used for psychotherapy.
In this period I was bedridden pretty much all the time and was barely sleeping. So I thought I would give it a crack.
But there was a problem. EMDR is normally performed by a trained professional on the patient. J wasn’t trained. Long story short, after she tried it on me a few times, with no actual result but I felt something, I ended up doing it on myself. For hours.
And I mean hours. I would lie on my back, close my eyes, and move my eyes from left to right to left to right to left…hours and hours and hours. If you research this you’ll discover why this is the process. I know. Sounds crazy.
The point I’m making is it can be done by patients themselves.
I stuck at it because although I didn’t get a result I continued to feel something. After 6 months of this — every day — a feeling turned violently into an action. It happened quickly, without warning.
After 4 years the spasticism was released. Wow. An indescribable relief.
Spasticism to Spasms
The problem was, and this is the violent part, the parts that had been the most ‘tight’ started to spasm. I started to twitch. So the relief - which can’t be overstated - was tempered by this new thing. It’s a laugh or cry moment - minus pain, plus whatever-the-hell-this was. The left foot was the worst.
Imagine a flag flapping in a strong wind. That’s the foot, the pole is the leg. From waking to sleeping (and maybe then too). Flap flap flap…4
So though there was great relief from some pain, this nonsense started. How to get rid of muscle spasms? Here’s how I did it.
I had been using cannabis orally to help with the pain, spasticism, and sleep for a few years. In the form of the dried plant included in biscuits. I became quite a baker. They were quite low dose, a dose I had arrived at over the years which helped my symptoms but didn’t leave me completely gaga.5
As part of my war-against-flapping research, I discovered that cannabis has been shown to mitigate muscle spasms. This is even in the mainstream medical literature. Well I was already using it. It wasn’t working. What was the problem?6
The only variable I had was dose. So I researched this. High doses of cannabis can result in dysphoria. Didn’t sound too good, but it wouldn’t last. It appeared the spasms might. So needs must.
I did some baking. Without giving a recipe — there’s far to many variables; individual body size, individual issues; raw material quality and strength etc. — this is what I did. And I’m glad my mind was in good shape when I did this because the result was 12 hours where I felt awful. Deathly dreadful — this was the expected dysphoria.
The only reason I’m writing this is because it worked, because if it hadn’t I would not wish those 12 hours on anyone.
I baked a few cookies that were twenty times (20X) stronger than what I had been using to manage my general condition. For me this would be a very high dose. And ate one, then lay down.
IN 30 SECONDS THE FLAPPING STOPPED. 30 SECONDS!!!!
Now I have to put blokie stuff aside. Because I cried. Spasticism gone. Muscle spasms gone.
Half an hour later, still celebrating the new relief, the expected dysphoria kicked in. 12 hours of grimness later I fell asleep. When I woke, feeling good, the spasms had returned but at 10% what they had been.
So I repeated the process.
Same strength high dose cannabis cookie, same immediate cessation of spasms.
But this time no dysphoria.
I’ve never had to repeat this process. Spasticism and major spasms never returned. Today, 5 years after I did this, there is still twitching in my left foot. But it’s more a nuisance than debilitating.

“poisoned“
I had been ‘diagnosed’ with multiple sclerosis. As far as I’m concerned, for me, MS is not a thing. The two words “multiple sclerosis” describe a symptom which in my case was a symptom of poisoning.
Don’t rely on Wikipedia for any information. At best it can be useful for a lead or two.
This is not really it but the best I can do to convey the feeling.
“sleeping“
Which I was now getting. Lots and lots of beautiful sleep.
“In the form of“
I had been prescribed a “cannabis product” by my death-cultist. I wont name the brand, but it was rubbish. Dose far too low to achieve anything plus it was 50% alcohol, including ethylene glycol. That’s a red rag to any chemical engineer’s bull. If it’s not unsprayed, natural artificial-chemical free soil etc.…there’s no point in my opinion.
“It wasn’t working“
It may have been. If I hadn’t been using it the spasms may have been worse. We’ll never know.
Its interesting that governments have legalised "Medical Cannabis" but they are controlling its production. Obviously because its tainted with shit that messes with your body & brain chemicals!
Cannabis used medically that is organically sourced has been used for eons as a medicine.
I am now using CBD oil for my new rescue dog's aggression & anxiety...it seems to be working. He's not trying to eat other dogs now!
Great piece by the way. Glad you found relief.
I am forever grateful for medicinal canabis. It saved my wifes life. For five years she was mostly comatose on the couch from an opiate addiction. Not only did canabis take care of the injury which led to the opiate addiction, but helped ease her off the doctor perscribed drugs and gave her back life. I am so happy when I see other stories like yours.
