I am forever grateful for medicinal canabis. It saved my wifes life. For five years she was mostly comatose on the couch from an opiate addiction. Not only did canabis take care of the injury which led to the opiate addiction, but helped ease her off the doctor perscribed drugs and gave her back life. I am so happy when I see other stories like yours.

Great news about your wife. Keeping away from doctors; probably a good strategy for a happy healthy life.

Its interesting that governments have legalised "Medical Cannabis" but they are controlling its production. Obviously because its tainted with shit that messes with your body & brain chemicals!

Cannabis used medically that is organically sourced has been used for eons as a medicine.

I am now using CBD oil for my new rescue dog's aggression & anxiety...it seems to be working. He's not trying to eat other dogs now!

Great piece by the way. Glad you found relief.

Thank you. Great idea for dogs with inappropriate aggression. I'll use it myself. Yes. It's an ancient remedy. The basis of many tinctures of old. I've got a few old (100+yr) herbal remedy type books. Very interesting. Cannabis plays a prominent part. As does pine turpentine.

Thanks Stuart. I really just got mad when I realised I was being lied to and gas-lit by essentially ignorant (indoctrinated?) people. Just another of life’s little challenges. It’s almost like a test (I know of someone who calls life a video game - sometimes hard to disagree). Reminds me — if you’re interested have a look at Stephen Hawkings final paper. Published after he died which was his insistence apparently. It’s been a few years since I read it, and I paraphrase, but he basically said that his research was junk (made his name with black hole & gravity work) and he thought the universe was a hologram. Who knows.

Thanks, will check it out, and I have heard that Hawkings "A brief history of time" is one of the most bought, but unread books ever

I am so glad that those approaches worked!!! I know I have been using cannabis - smoking it because I don't do carbs, and cooking it otherwise is challenging... - for 50+ of My 67 years, for the psoriatic arthritis pain. It is a miracle herb, and it infuriates Me that They made it "illegal" for so long, and now, with the "legal" stuff I can get, it's tainted. Just not right.

So... For a while now, since My supplier quit the business and moved out of the country, I have been just dealing with pain. Quite ghastly and I miss My medicine. I wrote up the issue - no One yet has been able to help:

Pain or Tainted Herb (article): https://amaterasusolar.substack.com/p/pain-or-tainted-herb

One of the benefits of heating (which obviously applies to smoking too) is there is a positive chemical change which (for my purposes) increases the efficacy. I wont go into the chemistry here, but if you're interested look at the creation of the alcohol group -OH (I'm only using the chemistry meaning of alcohol here) from the carboxyl group, how the plant comes naturally and what happens when carboxyl group is heated.

There are many reasons it's illegal. I'm sure you know them. But one reason not talked about is when you grow your own medicine (like food) there is a vibrational/freq/whatever??? interchange and the grown item is taylored for you specifically.

A series of books which has an insight into this.

Ringing Trees of Russia.

The best thing I have found by far for general pain -- remember I'm working on the premise I was poisoned with Tordon -- is pine turpentine. This post is about a (seemly endless) moment of extremity.

Thanks for the link.

PS I didn't get notified you left this message?

Substack is not notifying People of things, lately. I have found things I was not notified of, and have had Many say They were not notified. Sad to see the platform deteriorating.

I knew that a temp of 450° was needed to "activate" the THC, from decades ago research... Did not know the details.

Will look into the Ringing Trees!

Well I didn't get notified of this either!

Essentially the TH part of THC, which is the main psychoactive molecule in cannabis, comes in two forms in the raw plant. I'll just call them TH-OH (i.e. the one that gets you 'high' which is the actual THC) - with the -OH alcohol group - and one with the carboxyl on it, TH-COOH. It comes about 50-50 in the raw plant. When it's heated the -COOH group loses CO2 and converts into the TH-OH form - the actual THC. The psychoactive THC concentration is significantly increased, potentially doubled, by heating.

At least I was notified of Your comment. Thank You for the chemical explanation! I did not know the mechanism for why heating made it better, and now I do! 🙏🏻 🤗 💜 🤗 🙏🏻
